In the Apollinaire Empire, where birds are considered sacred, an oracle was passed down from generation to generation that the empire would enjoy eternal glory on the day the divine bird made of silver and gold descends. Richard, the young emperor of the Apollinaire Empire, discovers God’s egg brought by his companion bird, Dullahan, and takes care of it with all his heart. On the day when the egg finally cracked, what came out of the egg with much anticipation was… “Churi-churi!” It was a small bird that made a sound I had never heard before.
